Operations Supervisor
We are currently recruiting an Operations Supervisor for a heritage attraction and venue in central Dublin. This is a great growth opportunity in hospitality operations with full on-the-job training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety and proper presentation of premises, and that all equipment is in good working order.
* Ensure the safety of all personnel, guests, and suppliers on site.
* Provide support to the General Manager.
* Lead and support the operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Assist the Welcome Desk Supervisor to ensure the Welcome Desk team delivers a warm welcome to all visitors.
* Implement the Cash Handling policy correctly.
* Assist with daily cash counts and finance reports.
* Take charge of in-house events, acting as Event Supervisor when required.
* Attend to minor maintenance issues.
* Work with the General Manager and other departments to implement policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
* Lead by example and champion the organisation's values.
* Address visitor queries or concerns in a pleasant manner.
* Motivate team members to perform at their best.
* Continuously look for opportunities to improve operations.
* Provide occasional operational cover as needed.
* Hold key holder responsibilities.
* Attend required training sessions.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Hospitality/Tourism graduate with experience in hospitality operations.
* Excellent communicator with a strong customer focus.
* High attention to detail and good visual awareness.
* Excellent PC skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Flexible and innovative approach with keen analytical/problem-solving ability.
* Excellent work/time management and organisational skills.
* A high level of integrity and trust with confidential information.
* Approachable and highly professional manner.
