The Stores team is responsible for processes and procedures related to Baker Hughes' receiving, storing, and material handling activities within the site and to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.
Partner with the best
The Material Handler will be reliable, self-motivated, and reactive, working on their own or with others to meet deadlines. Duties include tasks related to receiving, putting away, picking, and issuing material to the production floor.
As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring high standards of HSE are maintained.
* Receiving inbound shipments (vans and trucks), using forklift and pallet stackers.
* Receiving and processing orders using administrative software tools (SAP).
* Completing daily cycle counts.
* Kitting work orders and issuing to the production floor.
* Performing ad-hoc warehouse duties as required to support the business.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Be fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland, holding an Irish Passport/work permit with no requirement for future sponsorship.
* Have a forklift license (previously or currently) and pallet stacker experience.
* Have some warehouse experience interacting with multiple teams, handling physical parts, and understanding material handling.
* Have a good quality and HSE mindset approaching processes and procedures in a warehouse environment.
* Have a Health and Safety driven mindset and practical, pragmatic approach to hands-on problem solving.
* Have some exposure or experience using SAP: advantageous but not essential (enthusiasm to learn these tools would be well received).
