The RHEL Lightspeed team is looking for a software engineer for the role of user interface developer to join our team in Waterford, Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and is willing to become a subject matter expert on Generative AI Models, Artificial Intelligence, and user interface development, as well as having expertise in areas such as Gen AI libraries and frameworks for training and inference.
In this role, you will help design, develop and test AI-powered system administration tools.
You will also be working with other stakeholders like marketing, product management, documentation, customer success and support to drive the success of RHEL Lightspeed.
What You'll Do Design, develop and test AI-powered system administration tools on a globally distributed engineering team.Work with product strategists to define and refine product requirements.Ensure accessibility, learnability and scalability of RHEL Lightspeed human interfaces.Build multi product demos and AI/ML workflows using Predictive and Generative AI leveraging RH product and AI stack.What You Will Bring: Experience in software development in Python.User interface development experience.A deep understanding of the Linux operating system, especially of RPM-based Linux distributions.Interest in service development.First hand practical experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g.
