We are recruiting a part-time Bookkeeper / Accounts Technician to join a growing team of a small construction company in the D14 area.
This job will be 20 hours per week and paying €25 per hour. A minimum of 4 – 5 years of previous bookkeeping experience is required, ideally from a construction-related background.
Responsibilities:
* Posting of all supplier and customer invoices
* Balance debtors and creditors listing each month
* Responsible for VAT returns and year-end accounts preparation for Accountant
* RCT monthly returns
* Provide Accountant with monthly payroll information
* Prepare supplier payments for authorisation
* Monthly bank and visa reconciliation and analysis of accounts and variances
* Prepare monthly financial reports and correspondence for internal or external review
* Contribute to and/or complete special projects as assigned
* Profit & Loss, balance sheet preparation
Skills:
* 3-5 years working experience preferably in the construction industry
* Strong communication skills, over the phone and via email
* Accounting technical qualification essential
* IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
* Proficient with Accounts Software, ideally QuickBooks
* Experience of accounts up to TB stage required
* Hours are 20 hours per week; job on-site initially but could be hybrid after the initial period
