Job Title: Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Social Policy
The UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our faculty as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Social Policy.
About the Role:
* Contribute to teaching and research supervision on the Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSc) degree and other interdisciplinary teaching programs.
* Undertake research, knowledge generation, and dissemination of research findings.
* Carry out academic and administrative functions as identified by the Head of School.
Requirements:
* PhD in social policy or a cognate social science discipline (e.g., sociology, political science, economics, public administration).
* A record of research and teaching in the field of social policy.
* Ability to make significant contributions in core areas of social policy teaching and research, such as Irish social policy, social policy and inequality, social policy across the lifecourse, and European/global social policy.
