Escalations Specialist – IC3
Our Client:
Our client is a leading social media company with a vast global user base. They offer a variety of platforms that enable billions of people worldwide to connect and communicate with friends and family in meaningful ways.
As an Escalations Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our trust and safety operations, working to resolve complex cases, enforce community policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do:
1. Investigate & Resolve – Review, analyze, and address sensitive user reports, partner escalations, and potential policy violations across our platform.
2. Enforce Standards – Apply our community guidelines, advertiser policies, and intellectual property regulations to maintain a safe digital environment.
3. Manage High-Stakes Cases – Take the lead on urgent and complex escalations, working closely with legal, public policy, product, and operational teams.
4. Analyze & Improve – Utilize data insights and trend analysis to suggest process, policy, and product improvements.
5. Think Fast & Stay Sharp – Handle challenging cases involving objectionable content, legal inquiries, and platform integrity concerns.
6. Collaborate Globally – Work with teams worldwide to develop solutions for evolving digital challenges.
What You Bring to the Table:
1. 2-4 years of experience in online operations, risk analysis, project management, or escalations.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – you love digging deep into cases to find the best resolution.
3. Experience handling high-priority issues and working under pressure.
4. Exceptional communication skills – you're comfortable interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
5. Comfort with sensitive content and an understanding of how digital spaces impact society.
6. A background in Business, Law, Public Policy, International Relations, or Computer Science.
7. Experience with data analysis tools like Excel or SQL.
8. A strong understanding of social media platforms and online community dynamics.
