Job Title: Content Marketing Executive
Role Purpose: We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Content Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll drive and develop content strategies to enhance our in-store presence and expand online revenue. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and dedicated, with a solid background in marketing and design, ready to contribute to a variety of projects across the business. This full-time position is based in Cork and offers the chance to work on diverse marketing initiatives across multiple departments.
Main Duties:
1. Content Creation & Social Media Management:
o Create engaging social media content in multiple formats, including strong photography and videography.
o Leverage existing media assets (video, image, audio) and produce fresh content across all channels.
o Capture new visual assets and develop a content strategy that aligns with marketing goals and audience needs.
o Implement campaigns to enhance brand engagement and drive revenue.
o Produce and distribute blogs, videos, and press releases across social media and traditional outlets.
o Develop editorial calendars to promote brands on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
o Monitor social media engagement, track high-performing campaigns, and adjust strategies for scalability.
o Collaborate with influencers to generate content and expand brand reach.
o Ensure content is optimized for SEO to drive organic traffic and increase visibility.
o Manage photography and videography projects from concept to completion, maintaining high-quality standards.
2. Campaign Management:
o Oversee campaign management, including design, agency briefings, creative execution, and performance reviews.
o Liaise with third-party agencies to manage all advertising and PR efforts, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
o Manage advertising activities across outdoor, press, audio, and leaflet formats.
o Coordinate promotional calendars and develop local marketing plans to support stores.
o Work collaboratively within the Marketing team to ensure that briefs are met and high-impact creative is delivered across the business.
3. Digital Marketing:
o Monitor industry trends and third-party organizations to maximize marketing opportunities.
o Manage blog posts on relevant topics to boost brand awareness and product visibility.
o Assist with digital media management, including PPC, Display, audio, and video marketing campaigns.
o Utilize customer and market insights to guide marketing and sales strategies.
4. Email & Text Marketing:
o Manage the digital communications calendar and oversee the design, segmentation, delivery, and reporting of campaigns.
o Develop and execute consumer campaigns, including writing and creating emails and texts with creative agencies.
o Test email campaigns to ensure optimal user experience, build on-brand email templates, and analyze performance metrics.
o Support content optimization efforts tailored to different customer segments.
5. Other Responsibilities:
o Process purchase orders and collaborate with the marketing and store teams to ensure timely task completion.
o Assist with marketing events and other critical business tasks.
o Work with senior team members to identify and execute new revenue growth opportunities.
o Attend marketing meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of marketing strategies.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2+ years of marketing experience in a B2C environment.
2. A full, clean driver's license with access to a vehicle, as travel to stores for shoots and visits will be required.
3. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or design (or related field).
4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a team environment.
5. Strong social media skills and content creation experience across platforms such as Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
6. A portfolio showcasing content creation and successful campaigns.
7. Knowledge of social media algorithms and engagement strategies is an advantage.
8. Technical skills in video editing, reel production, and graphic design.
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders for content creation.
10. Attention to detail and a proactive, flexible approach to work.
