eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for an IT Support Engineer. This is a 9 month Contract position located with our client in Athlone and work onsite 5 days a week.
The Role
In this role you will perform the On-Site IT services and end-user support. Your focus will be on resolving onsite support tickets, providing user onboarding/training where required and ensuring user satisfaction. You will help manage the IT equipment lifecycle process and assist and collaborate in IT project implementation.
This role is for a high performing professional with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, approachable and highly customer oriented.
Key responsibilities:
* Resolve onsite support tickets.
* Provide user onboarding/training as required.
* Manage the IT equipment lifecycle process.
* Assist and collaborate in IT project implementation.
Minimum Qualifications:
* University Degree in IT/Computer Science or bachelor’s degree with relevant discipline.
* Some experience working in an Agile set-up with Kanban teams.
* IT support related experience.
* Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
* Experience working in an international environment.
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
* Post-secondary education in a related field and/or relevant IT support experience.
* Good technical knowledge of Microsoft O365 environment, Windows 10, end-user device hardware; IOS devices and a high-level understanding of IT infrastructure.
