Post 2002 - Application Support Developer Dublin(NBC) Post 2002 - Application Support Developer, Information Technology Department Full Time Permanent National Blood Centre The IBTS is currently recruiting a full-time, permanent, Application Support Developer based in the Information Technology Department, National Blood Centre. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall delivery of Information Technology solutions within the IBTS. They will be expected to play a major role in the support, design and successful implementation of computer systems while maintaining and improving existing IBTS systems and inter-system interfaces. Working as part of the applications development team they will liaise with various stakeholders and suppliers in the delivery of various strategic initiatives Essential Criteria: 3+ years technical expertise developing and supporting critical business applications, both packaged and in-house developed Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Structured, analytical approach to problem solving, and design and implementation of system enhancements Development or support experience using Oracle technology stack (e.g. PL/SQL, Oracle, Oracle Forms/Reports, JasperSoft) Experience working under pressure in order to meet agreed SLAs Experience in requirements gathering for system changes. Experience in maintaining applications using Microsoft .Net Excellent documentation skills. Strong unit and system testing experience. Experience in data extraction Experience of working collaboratively with third party suppliers Desirable Criteria: Experience in JasperSoft report development Experience with BI & data analytics tools SharePoint development Experience of working in a GMP environment and of formal Computer Validation. ITIL Certification Experience with Infrastructure technologies The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade V scale €51,206 to €61,253 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum.
