Job DescriptionWe are inviting applications for full time and part time Food & Beverage professionals who have knowledge and experience in food service with an eye for detail and takes pride in delivering 5* service to join and enhance our established team in The Stables Brasserie and Bar.As part of the Food and Beverage team, you will be operating in an exciting, fast-paced quality service outlet. This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career.ResponsibilitiesTo ensure the complete satisfaction of each guest.To be helpful and work in contact with other departments.Ensure restaurant area is always kept clean and tidy.To read, understand and comply with your responsibilities as defined in the Health and Safety Statement and Staff Handbook.To comply with all reasonable requests by Management.Maintain a professional and respectful attitude and behaviour to guests, colleagues, management.Learning restaurant’s table planDeliver trays to the appropriate station and ensure that the plates are served in a timely mannerIf on a ‘Commis/Pass’ shift. Ensure the good communication between kitchen and serviceRoleGreet and escort customers to their tablesPresent menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glassesInform customers about the day’s specialsOffer menu recommendations upon requestUp-sell additional products when appropriateTake accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering softwareCheck customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beveragesCommunicate precisely with Kitchen StaffServe food and drink ordersCheck dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problemsArrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining areaDeliver checks and collect bill paymentsCarry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaningMeet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties, VIP)Follow all relevant health department regulationsProvide excellent customer service to guestsWe have full-time and part-time positions available on rostered basis, which includes weekends and evening shifts.
