Reporting to the CTO, the Product Engineering Manager is responsible for the direction and management of all aspects of product roadmap development, planning and release cycles. He/she will also manage our strategic product development partners, ensuring they meet agreed milestones. Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Manage and coordinate all product development programs, roadmaps and release cycles.
2. Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
3. Work with Managed Services Providers to ensure all incidents are resolved within SLA.
4. Ensure labelling and marketing/promotional literature match product specifications.
5. Research and monitor existing client base and industry developments to identify potential new product opportunities.
6. Work with other departments to establish a design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy.
7. Manage project budgets and prepare financial reports for executive management.
8. Foster a culture of openness, innovation, and a can-do attitude.
Qualifications
1. Holds a relevant third level qualification and at least 7 years’ experience in software technology development and product delivery.
2. Evidence of outstanding project management and scheduling skills.
3. Familiar with product development roadmap management techniques.
4. Strong analytical, partner relationship management and customer engagement skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
6. Action-oriented, problem solver and superior personal initiative, capable of managing him/herself and leading others in a fast-paced environment.
