Warehouse Teamleader - County Waterford
We seek an experienced Warehouse Teamleader who will co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse and Pack Out areas to meet production targets for customer delivery, product quality & cost, ensuring a safe work environment at all times. Applies lean tools to drive continuous improvement & process reliability.
Key Responsibilities and End Results:
1. Lead & co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Materials team to meet production targets for customer delivery.
2. Lead the use of lean tools to drive continuous improvement & process reliability.
3. Attend daily huddles, reviewing key metrics to ensure operation is on target.
4. Create a high performing flexible team which achieves excellent results through coaching, mentoring & effective performance management.
5. Ensure that there is regular team communication, ensuring engagement of all material handling personnel i.e. Warehouse and Material handlers.
6. Review KPI's through visual management tools & co-ordinate all training in order to perform assigned tasks across all areas.
7. Responsible for performance management and training of all direct reports.
8. Ensure performance reviews are completed on time, offering the opportunity of PDP’s to all team members.
9. Ensure all team members are fully trained in their roles and support the development of standard work, documentation, training, and procedural activities where appropriate.
10. Communicate warehouse and materials information effectively to the relevant departments.
11. Co-ordinate with Workcell Leaders and Shift Team Leaders to ensure all shipments are ready and available to ship i.e. OTIF of 100%.
12. Work with Supply Chain Department to plan resources, material, shipping, deliveries etc. to support the weekly operations schedule.
13. Lead area 6S program to ensure that housekeeping, GMP & Safety issues are resolved in a timely & systematic manner, thus meeting all company safety, environmental and quality initiatives.
14. Ensure equipment, area cleaning, inventory control & barcoding systems are adhered to as per cGMP requirements.
15. Manage all offsite storage vendors ensuring compliance with standards and that of the site’s regulatory requirements.
16. Manage consumable KANBAN levels within the on-site warehouse.
17. Manage environmental/pest control in the warehouse and packout areas.
18. Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
19. Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
20. Ensure compliance with all learnings from GMP audits and training events.
21. Manage internal and external audits, ensuring that all ACA are completed in the prescribed timelines.
Experience and Education Requirements:
1. Level 7 management/relevant supervisory management qualification desirable.
2. Experience in operations essential.
3. Previous people management experience.
4. Ability to motivate self and others.
5. Excellent initiative and decision-making capability.
6. Ability to work in a team environment.
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & ERP systems.
