Site Manager Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee the construction process on renewable, electrical infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage the construction process, supervising all activity on-site.
* Supervise and oversee the direction of the project, ensuring programmes are met and reviewing progress with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
* Order equipment and materials, managing their use and personnel involved.
* Collaborate with specialists such as engineers, contractors and clients.
* Comply with legal requirements, safety and designs, keeping daily records and diaries.
* Instruct labourers and sub-contractors.
* Enforce safety procedures, minimising risk and ensuring personal protective clothing and safety equipment usage.
* Conduct safety inspections to ensure construction and site safety.
* Maintain quality control procedures.
Requirements:
* Full and current driving license.
* 5+ years experience in general construction or civil engineering construction management.
* Construction degree or trade background preferred.
* Demonstrable track record of successful planning, executing, and delivering construction projects on time.
* Excellent Communication Skills.
* Current CSR Card.
* Working knowledge of industry practice and H&S legislation including risk assessment management.
