Job Title: Property Portfolio Manager
We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our growing property portfolio, drive strategic development and implement business solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with brokers and insurers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify opportunities for profitable growth and stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
* Provide expert insight and propose strategies to improve portfolio performance, addressing emerging risks and challenges in a timely manner.
* Offer technical underwriting expertise and guidance.
* Handle a range of queries and referrals within agreed authority limits.
* Support the delivery of technical training programs and mentoring activities.
* Contribute to the development of technical underwriting standards, controls, practices and procedures.
* Maintain and control underwriting guidelines.
Requirements:
* Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of experience in General Commercial Insurance with a focus on Property Insurance.
* Deep understanding of the property insurance markets.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills.
* Able to meet deadlines, detail-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment.
