Job Title: Corporate Governance Compliance and Quality Officer
We are recruiting for a Part-Time Corporate Governance Compliance and Quality Officer to join our team at the Waterford Intellectual Disability Association.
About Us:
The Waterford Intellectual Disability Association (WIDA) is a community-based voluntary provider of services for adults and children with an intellectual disability and/or autism in Waterford City and County. We are a registered charity with a voluntary Board of Directors, and are fully funded by the Health Service Executive.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Board in meeting the requirements and responsibilities of a Governing Board in a Charity context.
2. Ongoing review of systems, documentation, and practices.
3. Development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
4. Identification of shortfalls/forecast requirements and production of policies to address these shortfalls.
5. Ensure key activities such as quality, safety, and risk management are included in the remit of the Board and systems are in place to facilitate this.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Quality Management or similar qualification.
* Qualification in GDPR and Data Protection desirable (training can be provided).
* 5+ years experience of quality and compliance standards and certification.
* Experience of risk management and control.
