Highfield Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Peer Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to individuals using our services and their supporters.
Key Responsibilities
* Use your expertise gained through lived experience to inspire hope and recovery as per the National Framework for Recovery in Mental Health.
* Facilitate and support information sharing to promote choice, self-determination, and opportunities for connection with local communities.
* Work alongside people using our services on a one-to-one and/or group basis.
Requirements
* Personal experience of mental health difficulties, including insight into the recovery process.
* Experience of working with people with mental health needs.
* Hold a Certificate in Peer Support Working in Mental Health from Dublin City University (DCU).
