The Seller Engagement and Enablement Team:
We are a fast-growing team driving the growth of Amazon.in business and helping transform the way India buys and sells.
Our Responsibilities:
* Follow technology standard operating procedures for completing onboarding tasks
* Write code to accomplish small tasks or resolve service issues
* Understand and debug minor issues in services
* Manage prod deployment and sanity checks
* Reroute tasks to the right teams following SOP guidelines
* Develop automation scripts to fix common issues
* Work with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, DDB
Basic Qualifications:
* 1+ years of software development experience or 1+ years of technical support experience
* Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
* Scripting experience in modern programming languages
* Computer Science degree or 1+ year of relevant experience in large-scale online technical operations environments
* Strong communication skills
* Proficiency in one scripting language
* Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Effective organizational skills
* Ability to initiate, drive, and manage conference calls involving multiple stakeholders
* Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands
* Good communication skills
* Basic understanding of AWS (preferred but not necessary)
* Previous experience with tech-related work, ownership, and going beyond assigned tasks to solve issues
* Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and distributed software systems
* Exposure to serverless cloud computing (strong plus)
* Experience with technical support, incident response, and incident management
* Ability to automate select systems administration tasks through script creation and maintenance
* Exposure to Test Driven Development and CI/CD processes for zero-touch deployments
