As the Forecourt Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the store.We are looking for someone with strong skills in margin control, sales maximisation, and profitability growth across departments. This role requires excellent analytical abilities to assess sales, margins, and overheads. You will also develop and implement effective processes, systems, and procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality business results that meet both current and future needs.Responsibilities:Oversee all store operations, including inventory management, ordering, and ensuring product availability and freshness.Achieve fuel and non-fuel sales and profit targets.Control all operational costs to maintain profitability.Manage store budgets and revenue.Recruit, select, and train staff in collaboration with HR.Provide ongoing training to enhance staff skills and ensure operational efficiency.Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue.Innovate product offerings, utilise merchandising strategies, and explore new revenue opportunities.Ensure effective stock rotation and implement monitoring systems.Handle cash management in line with company procedures and resolve discrepancies.Ensure compliance with employment laws, health and safety regulations, HACCP, and sales regulations.Create staff rosters within budgetary limits.Maintain a strong brand image through leadership and mentorship.Motivate employees to provide excellent customer service and uphold store standards.Monitor sales, analyze performance data, and implement optimization strategies.Build and maintain strong customer relationships.Address customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.Work closely with the leadership team on store planning, profit and loss (P&L), and key performance indicators (KPIs).Requirements:Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in a similar leadership role within retail, preferably in a convenience store, grocery store, or fuel station.Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and maximizing profitability.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, employees, and partners.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high store standards.What We Offer:Bonus for achieving targets and KPIsStaff discounts on meals and drinksCompany phone and laptopPensionThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career or embrace a new challenge.
