Key responsibilities:
- A detailed report on the current SharePoint storage status and challenges
- Proposal and implementation of a strategy to reduce current storage capacity and effectively maintain it, with consideration given to versioning, duplicates, and the optimal approach to storage of images and other static content
- A retention strategy that describes how best to manage our SharePoint records, and reduce the amount of redundant or outdated records
- A detailed proposal outlining retention management options across site collections and sub-sites, with licensing cost considerations
- Best practice guidelines for segregating active vs. infrequently accessed content
- Best practice guidelines for the long-term preservation of critical records
- Documentation for and delivery of training on effective day-to-day internal management of the Client's SharePoint system, to include both the current Client setup and any additions made by the Resource as a result of this engagement.
Key Qualifications:
1.
Strong experience with SharePoint Online and on-premises storage, including architecture and capacity planning.
2.
Expertise in digital records management and designing/implementing retention in large-scale SharePoint Online environments.
3.
Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure storage solutions, and third-party tools for managing storage and retention.
4.
Experience in data compliance and governance.
5.
Skilled in producing high-quality documentation and delivering training to both technical and non-technical staff.
Preferred Certifications (or equivalents):

Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate (MS-102): Focused on SharePoint, OneDrive, security, and hybrid deployments.

Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert: Covers Microsoft 365 services, governance, and large-scale SharePoint implementations.

Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate: Specializes in data lifecycle management, compliance, and security.
