About the role:
Service Advisors in Spirit Motor Group operate front of house providing an essential service to our customers when they bring their vehicles to us for service and repair. Our service advisors are the primary link between the service customer and the workshop. Our service advisors report into the Service Manager. As a service advisor, your role will include:
* Providing the end-to-end service of a customer vehicle service journey
* Meeting and greeting all service customers
* Scheduling customer vehicle service bookings by phone, email, or walk-in
* Determining workshop availability for service, maintenance, and repair work
* Maintaining up-to-date progress on each of your customer vehicles when undergoing service and/or repair
* Advising and agreeing with customers on additional work or costs
* Handing the serviced vehicle over at the agreed day/time, explaining the work completed and processing payment
* Liaising with other teams in the business: management, reception, sales, warranty, parts
* Assisting with gathering customer service feedback
* As a front-line member of staff, you will always be a brand ambassador for the Spirit Motor Group, ensuring our customer service is maintained to the highest standards, utilising manufacturer, company standards, and best practices
What you need
* At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role working in the motor industry
* Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (fluent written and spoken English)
* A working knowledge of ADP/Kerridge - further training can be provided
* Proven experience in providing excellent service to front-line customers
* Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and manage time effectively, particularly at peak times
* A driving licence valid for Ireland
* Fully authorised to live and work in Ireland or hold a current visa/work permit
