Why This Role Exists
Due to our ongoing successes and ambitious growth plans, we are looking to recruit an additional team member for the Hospital Sales Team.
The successful candidate will focus on supporting our existing business in the territory while introducing new products from our portfolio, which has excellent scope for growth selling class-leading Medical products.
The team works closely with our partner companies and HCPs, providing solutions in Hospitals.
We're looking for someone who can develop and build strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers. Ideally, we’d like someone who is comfortable with and experienced in selling to Nurses and HCPs at all levels and Procurement Personnel.
The purpose of this role is to effectively increase sales volume and revenue within the Acute Patient Care business unit year on year while maintaining existing business through strong customer relations and clinical support.
This business unit makes a significant contribution to the overall company turnover.
* This is a full-time permanent position, ideally based in the Dublin / Leinster area.
* The main call points are Acute Hospitals and HSE locations in the Leinster, West/North-west, and North Leinster area.
* Whilst sales are a key part of the role, providing product education to HCPs is also very important.
* This role involves managing a range of agencies and products, all of which are well established in the Irish market.
* Flexibility in the territory to be covered will play an important part as the business’s needs evolve.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Achieve sales targets across the Medical product portfolio.
* Identify unmet needs in accounts.
* Maintain existing business & grow the business through existing accounts and new business acquisitions.
* Foster excellent relations with all customers and key decision-makers and present a professional image of Brennan & Co.
* Provide reports, analysis, and territory planner to the Sales Manager.
* Complete all administrative duties correctly and in a timely manner.
* Work entails daily interfacing with a variety of KOLs within a number of hospital/community disciplines, including Drs., all Nursing staff, and Purchasing Personnel.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree level preferably in a scientific/medical or business-related discipline.
* Experience in Medical Device sales (2-3 years minimum) – Not pharma sales.
* Proven sales ability and skilled in managing multiple product ranges.
* Displays strong sales skills - opening skills, preparation, demonstration, negotiation, closing skills, objection handling, and presentation skills.
* Skilled in Business and opportunity planning.
* Strong Account and Territory Management skills required.
* Full, clean driving license.
