Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - Interventional Cardiology
Are you a motivated and experienced nurse with a passion for healthcare excellence and team leadership?
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Manager I (CNM I) to lead a team of nursing professionals in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing interventional cardiology procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and Electrical Physiology (EP) procedures.
About the Role:
The CNM I will be responsible for coordinating, assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care for patients according to BSHS standards in conjunction with the CNM II. They will ensure the highest standards of patient care are delivered safely and effectively. The successful candidate will also oversee operational and clinical activities within the designated area(s), ensuring smooth workflows, support and mentor nursing staff through in-service training and professional development, coordinate the orientation of new staff and provide guidance to student nurses, maintain compliance with safety protocols, policies, and best practices in surgical care, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A postgraduate qualification in Cardiovascular Nursing, Interventional Cardiology, or a related field
- 3 years of post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, with at least 2 years being within the specialty of Cardiology
- The clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
- Experience with an Electronic Health Record is desirable
- Preceptorship experience is desirable
