POSITION SUMMARY The purpose of this field-based position is to provide scientific and technical support to veterinary customers within their territory on the health, diagnostics, and disease control of the Companion Animals in their care.
The person in role is required to work closely with Sales and Marketing Managers and Account Managers (AMs) using their veterinary expertise to support the delivery of sales growth and market share gains.
The CA Tech and PV Lead handles product complaints, conducting thorough investigations around product issues and bringing cases to resolution for customers based on the Island of Ireland.
They also ensure the reporting of adverse events is compliant with Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory guidelines, both within Zoetis and to the relevant regulatory authorities in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and work in collaboration with the regional structure to ensure timely reporting and resolution of major cases.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Companion Animal Technical support in CA Practices Develop mutually beneficial long term partnerships with our customers based on veterinary expertise, respect & reputation Maintain high level of expertise with the evolving Companion Animal portfolio of products, services, pricing and competition Grow the customer's product usage using technical and business knowledge.
Deliver programmes that improve animal health and productivity Align activities and support at practice level to the Account Manager plans, to relevant marketing programmes and to management direction Plan and implement the Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) management activities including KOLs identification, profiling in CRM System and managing annual plans for active KOLs in line with current product focus and future product development and launches Offer support, training and coaching to AMs and colleagues in the country team, sharing expertise and adding value to our customers Participate in brand cross functional teams, supporting the creation and implementation of Marketing Plans and tailor made activities to relevant customers Compliance and Pharmacovigilance Be the responsible person for veterinary pharmacovigilance (PV) in the Island of Ireland operations Reporting of adverse events in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory guidelines, both within Zoetis and to the relevant regulatory authorities in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland Management and handle of product complaints and adverse events, conducting thorough investigations around product issues and bringing cases to resolution for customers based on the Island of Ireland As required, delegate PV activities to other suitably qualified and trained individuals within Zoetis - together acting as the 'designated persons for pharmacovigilance' and the 'local PV team' Work in collaboration with his/her Supervisor and the Regional PV team to ensure timely reporting and resolution of major cases.
Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy ensuring all colleagues are frequently trained and up to date with PV reporting duties ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS All of the Zoetis Commercial Team in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with specific focus on Sales Area and Other Technical Manager Active participation on Companion Animal Planning activities, including Marketing Interaction with other markets CA Tech peers / PV leaders in the region when required Regulatory & Quality Affairs Team Regional / Global PV teams End Customers i.e.
Vets and Buying Groups RESOURCES MANAGED Financial Accountability The role has direct involvement on the Revenue Generation through frequent interactions with customers and will be included in the SIP (Sales Incentive Plan) with specific target per major products/categories supported Supervision The role does not have direct reprots The role reports to the Veterinary Operations (Vet Ops) & Livestock Marketing Manager EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Degree Qualification in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) - Certificate of specialisation in a relevant disease management or animal health area is beneficial - 3+ years Technical veterinary experience in corporate animal health industry is desirable - Proven experience managing and dealing with Phamacovigilance & Compliance policies - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a key capability to build and maintain effective relationships.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Desirable experience and skills on Sales automation / FFE / CRM systems Advanced and Demonstrable capabilities preparing reports and presentations to Sr Managers and Customers, etc Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesise complex topics for non technical stakeholders Strong relationship building skills Process Automation mindset and Business acumen Advanced Excel.
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Remote / Customer Faced position with very frequent travel within the Island of Ireland.
