Egis Ireland is seeking Geotechnical Design Engineers at all levels to join our growing team. You will be involved in delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions across a range of infrastructure projects, including transport, energy, and environmental developments.Key Responsibilities:Conduct geotechnical analysis and design for roads, rail, bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure projects.Perform ground investigations, site assessments, and soil-structure interaction studies.Develop geotechnical reports, risk assessments, and foundation design solutions.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.Use geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, Slope/W, GeoStudio) to support design work.Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations.Senior Engineers will lead projects, mentor junior staff, and provide technical expertise.QualificationsRequirements:Junior Level: 0–3 years of experience with a degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.Intermediate Level: 3–7 years of experience with strong design and analysis skills.Senior Level: 7+ years of experience, with leadership and project management abilities.Proficiency in geotechnical design software and knowledge of Eurocodes.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Chartered status (or working towards it) is desirable for Intermediate/Senior roles.Additional InformationWhat we offerStrong Career Path ProgressionWork with a global leader on Transportation Projects including: Roads / Rail and Active TravelThe chance to be part of a major company expansionOpportunity to work international within our group in the futureFurther Education and CPD Training sponsorship and SupportProfessional subscriptionsVery competitive remuneration package with benefits
