Procurement Specialist Full Time Permanent Contract based in Blanchardstown Dublin 15 Staffline Recruitment are currently recruiting a full-time, Procurement Specialist based in Blanchardstown on our client's site. My client is a highly experienced Global Sourcing Specialists in Industrial Supplies. Salary: €37,000 Hours : 8am Monday to 4.30pm Thursday 8am - 3.30pm on Fridays Annual Leave: 20 days of annual leave increasing to 23 with service. Pension: Option to join pension scheme Life Assurance: Death in service benefit after 1 years' service We are currently recruiting a to support our established team on our client site in Blanchardstown. This role will report to the Procurement Lead and the function of the role is to support the client in all aspects of the procurement operating in a fast-paced and compliant environment. Role/Responsibilities Complying with Health & Safety Liaising with Engineers and other Client staff Sourcing supplies for our clients and providing quotes Acquiring purchase orders from our clients to support the quote Creating sales orders Matching client purchase orders to sales orders and dispatching invoices Ordering from our suppliers and providing purchase order numbers Monitoring all open orders for clients and following up on items delayed Informing our clients of any delays or issues with daily, weekly & monthly reporting Adherence to strict deadlines, providing timely, accurate information. Other ad hoc duties as required Candidate Profile Strong procurement background with excellent administrative skills Previous Pharma & GMP experience an advantage Proficiency using ERP systems i.e., SAP Maximo Oracle etc. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask, work to deadlines and work under pressure. Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner Fluency in English essential and must be confident in dealing with clients and vendors Flexible approach to all areas of the role Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel essential The successful candidate Excellent people skills with a focus on building and strengthening the client relationship A strong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyse High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
