Business Development Manager / Leinster and above
Our client is a very strong growing leader in entrance access solutions. Seeking a sales BDM to join their team with full support. Salary: circa €55K - €58K (all doe) plus commission and pension. Vehicle.
The Role:
* Develop and maintain excellent customer relations
* Build and implement customer strategies for allocated accounts
* Develop the sales pipeline and win business according to targets
* Create offers and follow up on customers
* Work closely with the Sales Director to ensure product and commercial offering is suitable for continued growth and sales
* Generate new business through various means of lead generation such as telephone prospecting, physical prospecting, existing client relationship development, etc.
* Take full ownership for sales within the region and portfolio of key accounts; develop profitable sales through promoting additional services and value-added solutions
* Manage the sales process from initial prospecting stage through securing the order and ensuring successful implementation, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention
* Sell service contracts to customers after equipment installation is completed
* Work and assist with tenders
* Provide support and advice on technical solutions with customers
* Maintain contacts with technicians, sales team, and office on leads
* Field project customer responsibility
* Actively participate in the overall development of the Business Unit
The Candidate:
* Min 3-5 years of experience working with sales projects on similar access solutions / automation / construction sites or similar industry
* Strong understanding of numbers and analytical skillset
* Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong business acumen and development focus
* Committed and accessible colleague
* Experience from industrial matrix-organization is preferred
* Knowledge of the construction sector and general building processes
* Strong understanding of Irish laws and regulations within the building industry
