Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Overview
Our client, a leading organisation in the pharmaceutical industry, is looking for an experienced and driven Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in County Sligo. This role offers the chance to work at the heart of a highly regulated environment, providing vital support in planning, logistics, and purchasing activities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supplier Management, Quality Assurance, and Customers, to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure all Supply Chain SAP activities are effectively implemented to support current commercial needs and upcoming product launches.
2. Administer purchase requisitions for raw materials and supply items, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
3. Track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery, working closely with Supplier Management to manage material supply.
4. Assist with production planning and shop floor coordination to ensure smooth operations.
5. Open and maintain commercial, project, and engineering process orders.
6. Generate supplier delivery schedules and maintain visual tracking boards.
7. Prepare and generate material, production, shipping, and inventory reports.
8. Create and maintain a weekly production schedule, ensuring optimal planning parameters in SAP.
9. Participate in and occasionally lead weekly supply chain meetings.
10. Prepare data and analysis for the monthly IBP (Integrated Business Planning) cycle.
11. Collaborate with Vlog Planning to ensure accurate supply and demand forecasting for key commercial products.
12. Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to supply chain activities are up to date and adhered to.
13. Continuously seek and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
14. Maintain compliance with all quality and regulatory requirements at all times.
Requirements
1. A third-level qualification in a relevant field (a degree is desirable).
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supply chain function within a highly regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. APICs qualification is an advantage.
4. Advanced knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
5. Experience in supply chain management and working within a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
6. Excellent organisational and planning skills, with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
9. Initiative and innovation to drive continuous improvement.
