You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, verification, and physical design teams, to optimize the performance, power, and area of our GPU designs.Key Responsibilities:Digital Design: Develop RTL (Register Transfer Level) designs for GPU subsystems, including data paths, control logic, caches, memory controllers, and interfaces.Performance Optimization: Collaborate with architecture and physical design teams to optimize GPU performance, power consumption, and area (PPA).Design Verification: Work closely with verification teams to develop test plans and ensure the correctness and robustness of the design through simulation, formal verification, and emulation.Synthesis & Timing Closure: Perform synthesis and timing analysis to ensure the design meets clock, timing, and area constraints.Power Optimization: Participate in power estimation and reduction efforts, ensuring efficient designs for mobile, desktop, and server platforms.Design Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and test plans.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with system architects, physical designers, and software engineers to achieve project milestones and deliver best-in-class GPU designs.Debugging & Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve design issues found during verification, validation, or post-silicon bring-up.Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and tools to enhance productivity and design quality.Experience:5+ years of experience in digital design, preferably in GPU, CPU, or related high-performance digital systems.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.Experience with ASIC design flow, including RTL design, synthesis, timing analysis, and power optimization.Familiarity with verification methodologies (UVM, OVM) and simulation tools.Understanding of computer architecture concepts, including memory hierarchy, data paths, and instruction pipelines.Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics).Good understanding of timing analysis, STA, and power analysis.Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL) is a plus.Experience with GPU architecture, shaders, or parallel computing is highly desirable.By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data, store and process it on our systems.
