Design Build Search are working with a leading mechanical engineering contractor operating across Ireland. The company is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to provide leadership and direction on all projects managed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive operations and budget through successful leadership, organisation plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of strategies across all locations.
* Manage 3-5 projects concurrently at any one time, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
* Maintain contracts and ongoing relationships with suppliers, fostering strong partnerships.
* Coordinate and supervise the activities of specialist and subcontracted trade and disciples involved on site, ensuring effective and efficient operations.
* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe, proper, and thorough manner, adhering to H&S legislation, company policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Maintain good working relationships with MGME teams, promoting open communication and collaboration.
* Familiarise yourself with Procore and its facets, utilising the software to monitor RFIs, Damage, theft, and out-of-scope work.
* Implement and maintain QA systems put in place by the Quality Management team, ensuring high standards across all projects.
* Present detailed written reports on overall project progression to clients and contractors when required.
Person Specification:
* Experience working as a Contracts Manager in the M&E industry, demonstrating expertise in contract management.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, enabling seamless project delivery and issue resolution.
* Computer literacy, including good working knowledge in Microsoft Office and relevant construction-based software.
* A clean UK/ROI driver's license and comfortable traveling to sites in the Greater Dublin area.
