The RestaurantSupervisor will oversee staff, ensure high-quality service, maintain customer satisfaction, andsupport the Restaurant Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities: Staff Management: oSupervise and lead front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, andhosts/hostesses.
oTrain new staff, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoingcoaching and feedback.
oEnsure staff is adhering to company policies and maintaining a high level ofcustomer service.
Customer Service: oAddress and resolve customer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction at alltimes.
oMonitor service levels to ensure that all customers receive timely andprofessional service.
oAssist customers with menu selection, including recommendations andanswering questions regarding menu items and specials.
Operational Support: oAssist the Restaurant Manager with inventory management, includingordering and stock control.
oEnsure the restaurant environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
oOversee cash handling and payment processing, ensuring accuracy andcompliance with company policies.
oEnsure that health and safety regulations are met, including food handling andsanitation procedures.
Shift Management: oManage opening and closing procedures for the restaurant, ensuring that alltasks are completed on time.
oOversee and coordinate the work of staff during shifts, ensuring efficientoperations.
oHandle shift scheduling, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet customerdemand.
Collaboration and Reporting: oWork closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communicationand coordination.
oAssist in reporting to the Restaurant Manager, providing updates on staffperformance, operational issues, and customer feedback.
oHelp implement and track restaurant goals related to service quality, revenue,and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a restaurant orhospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
