Job Description
The QSHE Advisor will report to the Quality Health, Safety & Environmental Manager and support the Group's Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
Liaising with directors, managers and staff, this role will provide an advisory service to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to identify new opportunities, and possess excellent attention to detail, analytical, report writing and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the review and creation of quality, health and safety and environment documentation, including policies, operating procedures, risk assessments and environmental aspects.
* Conduct QSHE audits, prepare detailed reports and recommend improvements to enhance compliance.
* Organise and deliver QSHE inductions and assist with the provision of awareness programmes to staff.
* Deal with QSHE enquiries from internal and external sources and investigate incidents, accidents and near misses.
* Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience working to/with ISO standards (ISO 45001).
* Working knowledge of current Health and Safety standards and legislation.
Desirable Criteria:
* NEBOSH Certificate or Environmental Health degree/equivalent.
* ISO internal auditor qualification.
* Knowledge of BRC Global Standards or Food Safety Standards.
