Role Description The main responsibility of the Cyber Security Business Management Associate is to manage financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, and analysis for the Office of the CISO. Reporting to the Director of Cyber Strategic Analytics and Business Management, this role will drive financial planning and analysis process to ensure investments and budgets are aligned with strategic priorities and addressing high risks, as well as oversee daily operations and deliverables through collaboration with senior management and department leaders.
Role Objectives - Manage financial planning and forecasting and tracking estimates against actuals.
- Track and identify opportunities for cost savings and cost recoveries.
- Review and approve department expenses and create and monitor budget for approval.
- Drive business case development to support driving key initiatives.
- Track and monitor headcount ensuring open roles are aligned with overall strategy and based on needs.
- Partner with HR to drive recruiting for full time, intern and contractor positions.
- Aggressively manage investment and expenses to ensure projects and cost remain on target.
- Develop financial management reporting for executive, regulatory, and board communications.
- Oversee development of and implementation of internal processes and systems, identifying areas of improvement and ensuring efficient operations.
Qualifications and Skills • Must have a track record of successful financial management, project management skills in order to effectively manage several priority projects at the same time with a sense of urgency.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgement in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
