People Operations Specialist – EMEA

Length of Assignment: 6 Months
Our leading communications tech client is hiring a People Operations Specialist for their EMEA region. The People Operations team is the backbone of the core HR functions, with responsibility for running the day-to-day processes of the employee lifecycle. This team is currently on an exciting transformation journey with a view to delivering a seamless, efficient experience for their customers. You will play your part in this transformation by helping to identify and implement improvements for the region, create best practices, and contribute to building a world-class People Operations organization.
This position will work closely with other People functions to execute HR operational processes and services. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a broad understanding of HR processes and systems.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Leverage the HRIS system to perform transactions, and support employees and internal stakeholders
* Provide HR support related to questions concerning: benefits, compensation, HR policies, relocation, background checks, payroll, HR systems (Workday, Greenhouse, ServiceNow), general HR topics, mobility, and immigration
* Provide administration, communication, and processing support for core HR processes
* Partner closely with other People functions and HRBPs to execute HR processes with a focus on employee experience and data integrity
* Provide mentorship and assistance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
* Maintain confidentiality of HR data and projects; participate in system testing and support for HR program rollouts
* Document, maintain, and communicate core HR processes to users and stakeholders
Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years of experience running HR processes in EMEA, involving coordination of operational and project tasks, and direct employee/customer interaction
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
