Job Summary
The Systems Administrator (MES) plays a crucial business-facing role responsible for configuring, implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing support to the MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate across business departments and team members to gather and implement enhancement requests.
* Identify and resolve system issues, communicating items to management, business process owner, and users.
* Responsible for IT Applications documentation, including converting User Requirement Specifications to Detail Design Specifications, writing Configuration Test Plans, and summary reports.
* Configure reports, perform daily business administrative tasks related to functional support, and general user account administration.
* Provide SME support, working closely with functional departments on projects to develop, implement, and enhance the system.
* Assist with application setup prior to, during, and post Regulatory/Partner inspections.
* Process IT Applications change control requests, ensuring alignment with Validation and Quality departments following a development life cycle approach.
* Train other IT Applications employees, coordinating with team members to efficiently implement the system.
* Provide end-user support, troubleshooting problems at the application server level.
* Participate in or lead IT Applications systems security access and periodic audit trail reviews.
* Contribute to classification and risk assessments of data types, extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data from Oracle databases using SQL Developer and Oracle Data Miner.
* Create automated data reports using Oracle database systems.
* Utilize Oracle and application performance monitoring tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle database performance and capacity.
