Description

The purpose of the role is to oversee the financial performances of set divisions within the business for the surrounding area. You will meet business needs by providing financial guidance, month end reviews, and communicating with Business Managers on your financial findings, ensuring the ongoing development and standards of the company are met.
This company is one of the leading providers of Environmental and Sustainability solutions to a wide range of industries across the UK and Ireland. Primarily centred around Waste Management, they are expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key Ireland UK sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.

Key Responsibilities
• Review financial processes across multiple divisions of the business which are your main focus areas for improving, forecasting and creating improvement month end or year end reviews.
• Review P&L's for the set areas of the business and focus on ways to improve through the review of data, continuous improvement plans, and forecasting.
• Communicate with the Business Managers on financial reviews through weekly forecasts covering revenue and costs, reviewing data, managing debts and audits.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA or similar)
• Previous experience in-industry accountancy role
• Strong experience in a similar accountancy role as both qualified/part-qualified.
