Health and Safety Executive (Maternity Leave Cover – 12 Months)
Excel Recruitment is seeking a Health and Safety Executive on behalf of our client for a 12‐month maternity cover contract based in South Dublin, with hybrid working options available.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to join a well-established organisation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and promoting best practices across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
* Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures.
* Deliver engaging training sessions to foster a robust culture of workplace safety.
* Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies to maintain industry best practices.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Health and Safety role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (e.g. diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety).
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and current best practices.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
