We are seeking a Principal Project Manager – Highways to join a Sustainable Infrastructure team in Cork, Dublin, or Carlow. This position is ideal for professionals with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in highway and infrastructure design and project management. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, deliver diverse infrastructure projects, and play a key role in client and stakeholder engagement. This role offers clear career progression opportunities to senior leadership roles.Requirements:Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Chartered Engineer status required.At least 12 years of post-graduate experience in highway and infrastructure design and project management.Proven track record in delivering highway or greenway projects per TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0–4.Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams, budgets, and client relationships.Familiarity with design and build project delivery.Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently, flexibly, and as part of a team.Full driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.Responsibilities:Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Mentor and supervise senior and junior staff within the Infrastructure sector.Prepare technical reports, tender documents, and ensure compliance with quality assurance systems.Manage client relationships and project communications.Plan and oversee design work in collaboration with Engineering Discipline Leads.Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and company management systems.Coordinate work within the Infrastructure team and with external stakeholders.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead impactful infrastructure projects and grow their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
