Purchasing Specialist Role
Our client in North Cork is seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to contribute to their growing team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage product assortment within the portfolio to ensure a competitive and innovative range.
* Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts and minimize excess stock.
* Lead negotiations on terms, conditions, pricing, bid evaluations, and delivery charges for optimal cost efficiencies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven purchasing experience with strong supplier relationships.
* Strong analytical skills for interpreting commercial decisions.
* Excellent communication skills for influencing positive outcomes.
