What you will doAs part of the PGIM Private Capital (PPC) Information Technology & Services team, we support PGIM Private Capital with both vendor and internally designed applications, processes and reporting. We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to be a key contributor in performing quality management practices to satisfy software acceptance criteria and/or test requirements using industry leading tools and techniques. You will be part of a larger Quality Engineering group, to identify and drive innovative testing, evaluate automation approaches while supporting the test automation team. This role requires expertise with a variety of test automation methodologies, practices, and procedures with a dedication to high-quality, and efficiency for maximum velocity. This rewarding opportunity will enable you to have an impact in our organization, so if this sounds exciting, then PGIM Private Capital might be your place.What you can expectCollaborate as a member of a Product Delivery team to define and implement testing and test automation strategies.Develop, maintain, and extend automated tests and test automation frameworks.Reviewing requirements and seeks clarity as required, participates in product design reviews and work with the development architect and development team to make any design improvements and refinement as needed.Determine and manage required test data.Work collaboratively to optimize test coverage.Partner with DevOps teams to onboard automated tests – to stay consistent with an infrastructure established to support continuous testing.Support team member knowledge-sharing and skills transfer, to increase team productivity.What you will bringBackground in testing throughout the SDLC working across multiple development methodologies – Agile, Waterfall.Experienced in devising, implementing and coding automated test solutions throughout the SDLC using tools such as Selenium.Experience in test management and tools such as JIRA.Proficiency in using SQL to query for test data and data comparisons. Previous exposure to working with financial data is a plus. Ability to work with Agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment is key. Ability to provide technical oversight and guidance to more junior members of the automation team.
