General Manager
Required for prominent GastroPub in Cork City. The role requires the effective and efficient management of all Food, Beverage, and Events business at the property, coordinating the team and day-to-day activities.
Requirements
1. Experience managing busy volume, quality food service operation, and Gastro Bar.
2. Effective leadership and team management abilities, with experience managing busy FOH teams and excellent Kitchen brigades.
3. A reliable, committed, motivated, and professional person required.
4. Strong attention to detail, high standards, and service-driven approach essential.
5. Proven coaching, training, and mentoring skills, with a positive attitude and can-do approach.
6. Minimum 3 years General Management experience, preferably in a quality Gastropub locally, working closely with an experienced Head Chef.
7. Full legal status to work in Ireland required, as Work Permit is not available for this role.
8. Fluent English and excellent IT and admin skills necessary.
Responsibilities
1. Daily operations management and coordination of all areas within the GastroBar/Restaurant premises.
2. Team management, leadership, mentoring, and guidance as required.
3. Maintenance of highest cleanliness and hygiene standards.
4. Effective management of premises, including Security, Health and Safety, and other key areas.
5. Full responsibility for Tills, cash, pricing, Sales, promotions, special events, stock control, Rostering, and achieving monthly margins.
6. Adherence to shift and opening/closing procedures, ensuring compliance with EHO guidelines.
7. Leadership and creation of a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for both team and guests.
