My client is a well established and respected top tier Main Contractor with a long held reputation as top employer. Due to a recent project win, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager for an industrial project in Kildare. Ideally you will hold a degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with at least 10+yrs experience, at least 3yrs of which in a PM capacity. Personnel management - Engineers, Foremen, Site Management and labour. Agreeing project objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and EHS performance. Responsible for the successful delivery of project through leadership, management, technical and engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of the project Reporting to senior management on project progress, providing advice on the management of projects Chairing weekly progress meetings. Regular and sustained information flow and contact with commercial team/ quantity surveyor on claims, variations and project cost control. Subcontractor performance review. Monitoring sub-contractors workflow ensuring guidelines are maintained Monitor construction to ensure quality of workmanship and materials Carrying out risk assessments Work to resolve critical site issues Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications Ensure smooth information flow from Design and pre construction team. Coordinating and liaising with procurement department on long lead and critical items in line with the construction program.
