Cloud Support Engineer
As a member of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Support team, you will be at the forefront of cloud technology, assisting global companies and developers using our suite of services.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a Cloud Ambassador, providing customers with tools and tactics to maximize their AWS investment.
* Leverage advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues.
* Interact with leading engineers worldwide and partner with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
* Drive customer communication during critical events and contribute to projects improving support-related processes.
* Create tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles for the developer community.
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 2 years experience with Docker/Containers.
* 2-4 years knowledge/experience in administration and troubleshooting for two or more of the following: DevOps/Deployment OR Orchestration Management OR Configuration Management.
* Knowledge/experience in continuous integration technology (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, or related tools).
* Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with Jenkins, TeamCity, Circle CI or a similar tool.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* One or more Web and Application Server technologies (e.g. Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Glassfish, JBoss, Puma, Passenger, IIS).
* Scripting or development experience using Python, Node.js/JavaScript, PowerShell or C# (.NET), Ruby, Golang.
* Understanding of the complete deployment lifecycle from design, build, test, deploy. Experience with Kubernetes or containerization technologies Understanding of hypervisor/virtualization and containerization.
* Experience with System Administration with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server.
