Position Summary
Applications are invited for the role of Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher within the Tangney Lab at Cancer Research at UCC, Western Gateway Building, University College Cork.
Cancer Research @UCC is a translational cancer research centre within the College of Medicine & Health, University College Cork. The Microbes & Cancer theme, led by Prof Mark Tangney, involves the study and application of bacteria in cancer settings.
The Tangney lab is currently seeking a Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher to examine the microbiome of cancer patients. This project is related to Precision Oncology Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have experience in microbiome science (wet or dry lab).
Project Title: Microbiome & Cancer
Post Duration: 9 months
Salary: €52,715 - €57,332 per annum, IUA PD2 Scale
