The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Company Secretary Manager to oversee company secretarial compliance for a varied client base. This role offers direct client interaction, leadership responsibilities, and the opportunity to contribute to best practices in corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all company secretarial functions for clients, ensuring compliance with legislation and corporate governance standards
* Maintain statutory registers and records
* Prepare and file statutory returns with the Companies Office
* Organize and attend board meetings, preparing agendas and minutes
* Advise clients on company secretarial best practices and regulatory updates
* Liaise with Companies Office and external advisors
* Develop and implement company secretarial policies and procedures
* Provide training and support to clients and internal audit teams
* Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting company secretarial practices
Qualifications & Experience
* ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) qualification or equivalent
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a company secretarial role
* Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
* Proficiency in Relate Company Secretarial software, Microsoft Office, and Core
