Motor Technician - Fitzpatrick's Garage Kildare
Fitzpatrick's Garage Group, established in 1951, operates a number of car dealerships covering Counties Kildare, Laois, Carlow and Offaly and holding franchises for Hyundai, Opel, Honda and Mercedes-Benz, authorised repairers for Toyota and Lexus. SIMI Aftersales Dealer finalists for 2019, 2020 and SEAI EV Dealership of the Year 2022 are currently recruiting Technicians for our Service Department based in Fitzpatrick's Garage in Kildare town to work in our modern, well equipped workshop.
Responsibilities
1. Dealing with customers, management, staff in a courteous and professional manner
2. Diagnose, repair and service vehicles as required
3. Carry out all work to the highest standards in accordance with dealership & manufacturer’s standards
4. Keeping updated with technical product information
5. Maintain a clean, orderly workplace, adhering to all company policies, procedures & safety standards
6. Road testing, and quality control checks as required
Qualifications
1. Experience ideally working with one of our main franchises i.e. Hyundai, Opel, Toyota
2. Experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, engine overhaul, diagnostics and electronics
3. Be highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative
4. Ability to clearly communicate, to ensure the smooth & efficient flow of work
5. Be efficient and be capable of producing high quality work consistently
6. Full, clean driving licence
