The Role We are currently seeking a Group Senior Financial Accountant (GSFA) within the support services function joining our team of experienced, motivated, and high performing finance professionals.
In this role, the GFBP will be exposed to a number of key areas in the organisation and play an active role in operational improvement and driving change within the support services functions to a culture of data-based performance management.
The GSFA will engage with the support services functional leads through fostering strong relationships across the senior management community.
The GSFA will report on the financial performance of OASIS support services and holding/financing subsidiaries across P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and other metrics.
The GSFA will be responsible for liaising with the relevant stakeholders to consolidate, analyse and challenge where appropriate the Support Services Budget (ATL/NRC & Capex) in addition to monitoring (short, medium, and long term) and providing insight into the performance.
Key Responsibilities Group consolidation. Treasury, including cashflow forecasting, risk management and policy development. Managing the Group Financial Accountant who is responsible for the shared services cost centre. Review and monitor the full year forecast for the Support Services cost centre. Develop strong stakeholder relationships across the business. Deliver useful insights to the relevant stakeholders. Group statutory audit, including management charges calc and IFRS 16. Corporation Tax compliance matters. Drafting of Group financial statements using Caseware software and word. Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the Group. Investor and bank reporting. Board reporting. Assist with the monitoring and reporting on key initiatives/projects in the Group. Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the business to support the organisation's needs. Candidate Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience in a related field. Easily shift between abstract strategic discussions and operational details to be able to drive projects including scoping, analysis and development of recommendations. Have stakeholder management experience and comfort in providing challenges and a different perspective when necessary. Strong communication skills, presentation skills and commitment to excellence. Proven capability of conducting and interpreting advanced quantitative/qualitative analysis, problem-solving and data manipulation. Demonstrate superior judgment to mitigate risk. Strong project management, problem-solving/decision-making, continuous improvement and change management skills. Ability to engage with all levels of staff and focus on developing solutions that meet and/or exceed projected results while building and maintaining strong relationships and gaining trust. Remain informed of the latest developments, techniques, tools and processes within the strategy/strategic performance and analytic space. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Good technical accounting knowledge. Excellent Excel Knowledge. Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven capability in problem solving and data manipulation. Ability to show initiative and drive process improvements. Experience working with Microsoft F&O an advantage.
