Who are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about care at home, providing their service in a respectful, empathetic, and safe manner, and would like to continue developing their professional path in full-time and part-time roles.
Essential experience and skills:
* Completed relevant certs/training in prenatal care (preferred)
* Willingness to undergo DPS Vetting (required)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathetic, kind, and caring nature
* High motivation to provide the best quality of service, centered on the individual
* Full driving license and access to own vehicle (preferred)
* Good standard of English - both spoken and written
* Experience working in a relevant background would be an advantage
* Eligibility to work in Northern Ireland (required)
Key job responsibilities:
As a doula, you will support the client both physically and emotionally. The goal of this position is to ensure the birthing person feels safe, empowered, informed, respected, and heard throughout their pregnancy, labor, and delivery experience.
* Assisting with daily aspects of living in the client's home
* Providing a high standard of personal care
* Providing support and companionship with developing social interactions and activities inside the home and in the community
* Meeting each person's needs in a safe environment
* Develop and establish positive professional relationships with clients
* Supporting various tasks such as personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, shopping, medication prompt, night feeds, nappy changes of newborn, etc.
