Your new role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll leverage industry-leading design software to create technically feasible and commercially profitable products. You’ll stay up-to-date with new materials, components, and deployment methods, ensuring our designs remain innovative. Your role includes developing detailed engineering drawings aligned with production processes, maintaining accurate records, managing Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring quality standards, liaising with manufacturing teams, providing production support, implementing cost-effective designs, and collaborating with stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll require a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of four years of experience in design and development, preferably within the concrete batching or crushing and screening industry, is essential. Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks for detailed design work is crucial. Familiarity with Microsoft packages will enhance communication and documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a collaborative team mindset, are key attributes.
