Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee and implement safety protocols across its projects. Based in Dublin, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations across multiple sites, with frequent travel to Nordic locations as required.
Essential: Prior experience working in the Nordic region and familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures across all company operations.
* Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
* Provide health and safety training to employees, contractors, and site teams.
* Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and project teams to ensure best practices in workplace safety.
* Monitor health and safety performance, preparing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Stay updated on health and safety legislation and industry trends, ensuring compliance with both Irish and Nordic regulatory frameworks.
Requirements
* Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Health and Safety Management, preferably in construction or data centre environments.
* Essential: Prior experience working in the Nordic region and familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
* Strong knowledge of international health and safety standards, including ISO 45001.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites across different countries.
* Willingness to travel frequently to project sites in the Nordics as required.
