Job Overview
The Warehouse Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with various departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
* Order Processing: Assist in processing customer orders, preparing shipping documents, tracking shipments, and managing order fulfillment.
* Data Entry: Input and update warehouse data into the inventory management system, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all information.
* Shipping & Receiving: Assist in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation is completed and materials are received in good condition.
* Stock Audits: Coordinate periodic stock audits and assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
* Documentation & Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order status, and warehouse performance. Maintain and file important documents related to inventory, shipping, and receiving.
* Coordination & Communication: Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, procurement, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies regarding the handling and storage of goods in the warehouse.
* Support Warehouse Operations: Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager, including scheduling, preparing reports, and assisting with special projects as needed.
Required Skills:
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
